About Us
Coaching for Everyone - Busy Professionals, Working Moms, and World Class Athletes
Based in Northeast Florida, Shott Performance was founded in 2016.
Coach Owen Shott has a lifetime of endurance training and competition experience. His success as a runner growing up landed him a scholarship to FSCJ in 1999 when he moved to Jacksonville, FL. Since then, Owen has won numerous running, cycling, and triathlon races including multiple State Championships and National Championships. His goal with Shott Performance is to pass his knowledge and experience along to each athlete he coaches.
Coach Austin Doty grew up as a multi-sport athlete but didn't begin cycling until 2015. In 2017, Austin started competing more seriously while being coached by Owen and developed a passion for the process of building endurance fitness. Now, Austin has paired his formal background in engineering and data science with his passion for exercise science. His goal with Shott Performance is to refine and develop the processes required to excel in all endurance sports.
